About Me

Hello, my name is David and I have been a Radio Ham since 1983, I went to the Rotherham College of Arts and Technology and passed the City And Guilds of London Institute. Radio Amateur Certificate.
My licence was issued on the 18th August 1983. This was a class B licence. I have since been issued a Amateur Full Radio Licence CEPT Class 1. However I still retain my original call sign.
MY RADIO SHACK.
I have a Kenwood TS-690S HF tranceiver powered by a Trio PS-430 power supply. A Collins 30L-1 linear amp. My HF antennas are homebrew, a 33ft verticle for 7 MHz and a Cobweb type antenna for 14, 18, 21, 24, and 28 MHz.. and I hope to make a short dipole for 80mtrs.
2mtrs and 70cm are covered by the ADI twin set AR 146 and AR 446 powered through a Daiwa PS-304 II and the antenna is a Diamond dual band.
Mobile I have a Yaesu FT-7800E with a SG-7900 antenna.
